  Sent on behalf of Liz Jacobs, MD   Dear Colleagues,   As you know we have been preparing to change our name to MaineHealth Institute for Research for the past several months and will be officially announcing this change starting June 1.  We have several communication efforts planned: an announcement I will be making tomorrow at the OpEx Daily Huddle, an article in MaineHealth News, and a press release to name a few.   Mark your calendars for  June 8  where we will have a cupcake and ice cream truck from 1-3 pm to celebrate and raffle items from the Wellness Committee (more details on this celebration to come).  Also, be sure to tune into Andy’s Open Door on  June 15 , when Doug Sawyer will be talking about Academic Affairs as well as Research’s name transition.   During the months of June and July, you will see this name change reflected in such places as exterior signs, staff badges, public and internal communications, as well legal and compliance forms.   I want to thank the work g
