MMCRI staff check in follow up from 10-22-20 meeting

Here is a recording of the meeting in case you missed it - MMCRI Staff Check In - October 2020

We discussed whether the staff check ins should continue. We all agreed that they are helpful and should continue for now.

Flu Vaccines

As a reminder, all MaineHealth colleagues are required to receive a flu vaccination and provide proof of flu vaccine (or documented medical or religious exemption) by November 1.

We received clarification from Employee Health about the notification of receipt of flu shot forms. There is a backlog and they are doing their best to update employee records as quickly as possible. It sounds like some people have received receipts for sending in their forms and others haven’t due to different people in Employee Health receiving the form. If you are questioning whether your form was received, please ask your manager to check his/her report in Lawson to see if you are marked as compliant. Managers – please follow up with your employees that are not yet compliant. Reports can be found in Lawson under the HR Reports section.

PTO requests

Please send PTO requests to the PTO Mailbox (MMCIR_PTO@mmc.org) and copy your manager. Managers, please respond to that email indicating that you approve the PTO. Thank you for your patience as we train our new staff on Kronos.

As referenced at the Staff Check In, the MaineHealth attendance policy can be found here - MaineHealth Attendance Policy. Please let Amy Caron know if you have any questions about this policy.
