  September 14, 2023   Emergency Department Honors EVS Care Team Member for 35 Years of Service     Rose Olmsted has been working to keep MMC’s Emergency Department (ED) clean for 35 years, even working 6-7 day weeks during the height of the COVID pandemic. On her work anniversary last week, the rest of the ED team held a celebration so she knew how much they appreciate her.   Rose’s manager, TJ Monoyez, describes her as “dedicated, loyal, motivated, compassionate and caring.” She trains all new Environmental Services (EVS) workers who begin in the ED so that they are prepared to meet her high standards.   ED Nursing Director Nanci Goudey, RN, said, “Rose’s hard work is vital to our ability to see patients.
