Drive Fore Kids Benefiting BBCH - Volunteers Needed
MaineHealth is proud to support the 3rd annual Drive Fore Kids celebrity golf tournament at Falmouth Country Club, June 19-22, 2025, benefiting MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. MaineHealth has committed to providing volunteer support to help continue the success of this event. While the event is based in the Greater Portland area, volunteering is a unique opportunity for care team members across the health system.
Last year’s event featured more than two dozen celebrity golfers, including Roger Clemens, Patrick Dempsey, Marshall Faulk, Noelle Lambert and Kevin Millar. A similarly packed field of celebrities is expected again this year!
Volunteers are an essential part of a successful tournament, and several volunteer shifts and days are available. From hospitality to on-course services, volunteers make the experience memorable, enjoyable and most importantly, impactful. Golf knowledge is not a requirement to participate.
A special volunteer pre-registration for MaineHealth care team members is now open! Access the volunteer registration website here. The code to waive the registration fee is: MHealth25. For important instructions on volunteering and available committees, click here.
Please coordinate with your teams regarding time off to volunteer at this event and encourage care team members to volunteer if their schedule allows. Volunteering time should be worked out by care team members and their managers. MaineHealth will pay care team members for one volunteer shift if they agree to volunteer at least one shift on their own time (they sign up for 2+ shifts).
Thank you for supporting this event, as it helps advance our mission of improving the health of our patients and communities. For more information about the event, visit the Drive Fore Kids website.
Sincerely,
Rich Bayman | Erin Brown |
