However, with this new frontier of research practices comes great responsibility for researchers to navigate the ethical elements of using AI as part of their work. With the possibilities of data bias, AI overuse, and unintended consequences impacting society, what must researchers understand as they move forward with new tools? “Artificial Intelligence and Research Ethics,” a Virtual Forum exploring how institutions must reconsider their ethics protocols in the face of risks posed by emerging AI tools in the complex area of research is available on demand.   High School Career Exploration Event Join MaineHealth on Tuesday, August 22 from 1-4 p.m. at the MaineHealth Professional Park (301 US-1, Scarborough, ME 04074) for a career exploration event! High schoolers and recent high school graduates are welcome to learn more about a variety of career pathways within MaineHealth. The day will feature guest speakers and demonstrations that provide an overview of clinical and non-clinical opportunities available in healthcare.   July 31, 2023   Unit Helper Receives PETAL Award   When Unit Helper Nyjany Koda saw a new mother experience a medical emergency while holding her newborn, she sprung into action. The care she showed the patient before medical help arrived has earned her a PETAL Award. This message is being sent to MaineHealth care team members.  Artificial Intelligence Usage at MaineHealth Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare has the potential to revolutionize the industry by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, improving patient outcomes, optimizing resource allocation and improving efficiency. However, it is crucial to follow guidelines and best practices to ensure the responsible, safe and ethical use of AI.   SUNDAY, AUGUST 6, 2023 AT 9 AM – 12 PM Flower Fest - A Farmer's Market Style Event Bell Farm Shops Bell Farm Shops is located on a beautiful stretch of property along US Route 1 in York, ME. We welcome you to come and enjoy the grounds while browsing through the many goods and services offered by other local businesses! In addition, we will be donating raffle proceeds and 10% of Bell Farm Shop sales for the day, to York Land Trust. The aim of York Land Trust is to conserve the natural resources and heritage of York, ME. Bell Farm Shops will also be having our annual Daylily sale!
