MESSAGE FROM THE GSC

Congratulations to all the graduate students who graduated on Sunday, May 21st! We are proud of everything they have accomplished throughout their time at Tufts GSBS and wish them the best in their future endeavors.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend! GSC has some exciting upcoming events. Tonight, we have a group of students trying their luck at trivia at Kings in Seaport. GSC will be providing food and drinks for trivia night and hope to sponsor more trivia events next year.

On Wednesday, June 7th from 7-9pm, GSBS will set sail on Boston Harbor. Thank you to all the students who bought tickets for the boat cruise, and we look forward to snacking on tacos and watching the sunset on the water. The cruise will launch from 60 Rowes Wharf, Boston, MA 02110, and please arrive 30 minutes prior for boarding.

We are very excited for GSBS Relays on Friday July 21st at Field F (rain date will be July 28th)!

For those who haven’t participated before, Relays is a mini-Olympics between the different GSBS programs. This year we will have four teams, and those teams should be deciding on their T-shirt designs soon. The teams with their Relays T-shirt colors are

  1. Micro/PDD - Orange
  2. MD/PhD - Blue
  3. Neuro/Immuno - Purple
  4. GMCB - Black

For Relays there is both the academic portion (where you submit points based on academic achievements) and the sporting/field events. Don't forget to submit your academic achievements for academic points for your Relays team! Please use this link below to start submitting your academic achievements.

If you have any questions about Relays or any of these upcoming events, please reach out to any of the GSC executive representatives or your program's GSC representatives. We look forward to seeing everyone at Relays!
