Booster Scheduling now Available

Care Team members who initially received Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines can now schedule their boosters.

To schedule a booster appointment, click here for instructions and a set of Frequently Asked Questions.

In addition to Moderna and J&J boosters, the team will again be offering Pfizer boosters to any who need them, and who received their second dose at least six months ago.

Booster clinics will be held in the MMC Dana Center beginning tomorrow, Oct. 27 for eligible MMC, MMP, MaineHealth, NorDx and Maine Behavioral Health care team members working in the greater Portland area. The Dana Center clinic will be open until Nov. 10.

Please note:

·       If you want to receive a booster, you must schedule an appointment; we are not accepting walk-ins.

·       Remember to fill out your consent form and bring it to your appointment.

·       If you received your COVID-19 vaccination record in Maine and it does not already appear in MyChart, you must import your COVID-19 records. It’s easy to do in MyChart and this video shows you how (instructions start at 1-minute mark).

If you received a Moderna vaccine you are eligible for a booster shot at six months or more after your initial series.  If you received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, booster shots are also recommended for those who are 18 and older and who were vaccinated two or more months ago. Click here for more information on eligibility.

Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. Some people may have a preference for the vaccine type that they originally received and others may prefer to get a different booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots.
