A glimpse of the beauty of Tanzania
MMCRI Research Assistant Ben Tero recently returned from a volunteer medical trip to Tanzania, where he captured this stunning view:
While on a safari at Lake Manyara National Park in northern Tanzania a family of elephants crossed the road mere feet away from my vehicle. Not bothered by human presence at all, they proceeded to leisurely make their way across the road, and disappear quickly into the brush. This young elephant came so close to our vehicle that I had to use a fisheye lens in order to capture them. This was easily a highlight moment of the trip, and one I am so happy that I can share.
