Upward Bound field trip visit to MaineHealth Institute for Research

Image
Upward Bound is a national program that serves  high school students who are  socioeconomically disadvantaged or will be first to college in their families. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. They have fantastic programs in science and technology, and we have a great partnership with Southern Maine Upward Bound to host students at MaineHealth Institute for Research. The Southern Maine group visited us this week, and I want to thank our volunteers and managers for supporting this program: Sergey Tsibulnikov, Ben Tero, Elizabeth Mutina, Logan Douglas, Ronit Avudhuta, Anna Cloutier, Sarah Eastman, Debra Burris, Krista Garrison, Tammy Myers, Arturo Hernandez, Liz Jacobs, and Sergey Ryzhov. Thank you Liz Bergst and Christine Ellis for leading these programs!
